New Brunswick Resident Park Entry Discount

New Brunswick residents to enjoy a 25% discount on daily provincial park access!
It will now cost less for New Brunswick residents to visit provincial parks.
The government has established a 25 per cent resident discount on the cost of daily entry and seasonal park passes. The goal is to make parks more accessible while encouraging people to get active and spend more time outside.
Confirmation of residency in New Brunswick will be required:
- Visitors must show a government issued New Brunswick photo ID when purchasing a pass at a provincial park to receive the discount
- Please have resident identification ready when purchasing your pass.
Season passes are currently only being sold at provincial parks.
*Please note that camping fees and other park activities such as golf, equipment rentals, merchandise and food and beverage are not included in this promotion.
“Our parks provide New Brunswickers and visitors with inclusive, protected spaces that inspire education, wellness and the enjoyment of natural and cultural destinations,” said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Isabelle Thériault. “This discount on provincial park passes is an investment in New Brunswickers, not only as an incentive to stay active, but also as an opportunity to discover the beauties of our province.”
This discount applies to provincial parks managed by the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture:
- New River Beach Provincial Park
- Murray Beach Provincial Park
- Parlee Beach Provincial Park
- Mount Carleton Provincial Park
- Fundy Trail Provincial Park
- Le Village Historique Acadien
- Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
Provincial Parks that do not have an entry fee for the 2025 season:
- Sugarloaf Provincial Park
- République Provincial Park
- North Lake Provincial Park
- Mactaquac Provincial Park
- Herring Cove Provincial Park
Provincial parks managed by the department welcomed more than 1.1 million visitors during the 2024-25 fiscal year.
Provincial parks provide a venue for recreation, connecting with nature, outdoor education and events. The Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture has developed several programs that reach students K-12 and post-secondary, in partnership with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and several not-for-profit partners (Eg. CPAWS, NatureNB, Ducks Unlimited, etc.).
