There are many outstanding holes on this golf course but the following two stand out. The diabolical #14 is a 385 yard par 4 that has a pond 200 yards out that covers the whole fairway; lay up, and you have a 200 yard shot in, or hit the driver and hope to carry the ball 230 yards to clear the pond.

The 17th hole is an uphill dogleg right with the fairway sloping left par 4 that is 395 yards. Hit it right or left and you are in deep woods. The green is also protected by two bunkers.

Mactaquac boasts generous-sized greens, meticulously groomed fairways and large bunkers. The course is ranked 6th overall in Atlantic Canada, by Score Canada Magazine.
